Traditional Brick Mailboxes are constructed on location by means of employing a general contractor, or a combination of concrete, block and brick subcontractors. Until now, brick mailboxes had to be constructed “on-site” because brick mail boxes weigh too much to construct off-premises and transport to a location.
At Mailboxes of Distinction, we recognize the need for an attractive, lightweight brick mailbox that is manufactured off-premises. We developed an exclusive manufacturing process to produce architectural brick mailboxes that are not only beautiful and unique, but also both lightweight and transportable.
A Mailbox of Distinction brick mailbox is manufactured utilizing a brick patterned, high density polyurethane material in place of actual bricks. This durable and lightweight cladding is available in authentic looking brick patterns.

As illustrated above, there are disadvantages to building brick mailboxes on-site:
- Most traditional brick mailboxes utilize inexpensive letter boxes that are purchased locally. Such letter boxes are not designed to be encased in concrete or brick and will not survive the life of the structure.
- On-site brick mailboxes are commonly constructed with only materials available on hand and without a plan.
- Local tradesmen may have limited experience in designing mailboxes, resulting in minimal creativity.
