The United States Postal Service (USPS) has standards for mailbox design and installation. The USPS permits individuals to construct or contract with others to construct a personal mailbox. When designing and manufacturing your custom mailbox, Mailboxes of Distinction acts on your behalf in the capacity of contractor.

As your custom mailbox specialty contractor, Mailboxes of Distinction makes every effort to construct your mailbox to USPS requirements. However, it is your responsibility as the customer to contact your local post office regarding approval and installation requirements before purchasing and installing your mail box. It is also the customer’s responsibility to obtain information regarding local restrictions and regulations.
